The $28 million renovation and expansion project added 90,000 square feet to the 126 year old museum. This steel-framed and poured-in-place concrete structure includes the Grand Atrium, a research library, a 300-seat multimedia theater, and a 8,500 square foot exhibition hall, involved a steel frame and poured-in-place concrete.
